For any brick and mortar location, driving prospects to your business, is important. Accessing Google My Business is one way to add a message that will last a week, before being archived. You can do this through the GMB app on your phone or as in the screen above, when you are using a browser like Chrome and are logged into your Google account, you can create a message (the left column of the screen).
On the right side of the screen, circled in RED, is the most recent message which is linked to my blog post on this subject.
Why should you care?
A couple of reasons you should implement a program to post on the GMB result on a weekly basis:
- You will receive analytics regarding how many people saw the post and took action on it.
- By posting on a weekly basis, you should see an improvement in the map results.
Preliminary reports indicate that businesses that leverage this new way to add content can rise to the Key Three of results in a short period of time.
